Recently Mechatronics instructor Adam Paisie was able to attend the ACTE CTEP (Career Technical Education Professionals) Conference in Columbus. Faith Miller and Jack Salih from the senior Mechatronics lab were there to represent C-TEC. We were one of five schools that were invited to set up a student showcase at the event.
Faith and Jack did an outstanding job during the student showcase! They also participated in a student panel Q&A session where they fielded questions from approximately 40-50 educators.

Last week 5 students from Teaching Careers competed at the Educator’s Rising State Competition at Capital University.
Bethany Brooks, a junior from Lakewood, placed 4th and is a national qualifier. She wrote and illustrated her own book for preschoolers. Well done, Bethany!

A special thank you to our Medical Assisting program for organizing and leading the recent blood drive. Their efforts resulted in over 60 volunteers stepping up to donate, collecting 50 units of life-saving blood for our community. Your hard work, professionalism, and commitment to service truly made a difference!

Seniors Eva Nogueras and Payton Zerkle were this year’s C-TEC students invited by Newark Rotary to participate in 4 meetings to learn about the organization and the values of service to the community.
They were selected based on their participation in activities at C-TEC and at their home schools, as well as academics and attendance.
