Our Postsecondary HVAC students train out in the field, gaining real-world experience. Doing things like connecting refrigerant lines and ensuring secure, leak-free fittings, running electrical connections and making sure the unit is properly grounded, and working as a team to meet professional installation standards are all part of the process.
This isn’t just classroom learning—this is career-building, skill-sharpening, hands-on training!

Air Evac Life-Team 107 landed at C-TEC recently and the postsecondary summer EMT class was able to tour and ask questions about the aircraft. The helicopter crew went over landing zone and scene operations when air-medical is utilized by EMS in the pre-hospital setting.
