Meet Tyler!
He's in his final weeks of machinist training in our postsecondary center and has already earned three impressive credentials: Haas CNC Operator Mill & Lathe certification, OSHA10 certification, and the adult C-TEC certification for machine trades. Even before completing his courses, Tyler has secured a job as a machinist and is on the path to a successful career. Interested in a machining career?
Contact ncookse@c-tec.com for more information.

A group from the Licking County Foundation recently came to C-TEC for a lunch & tour. We were thrilled to share with them what we do and the importance of career technical education at all grade levels.

Our LPN students have gone beyond the classroom this year through their HOSA Community Awareness project, “Hygiene Hub.” What started as a competition entry has grown into a meaningful mission to support members of our local community.
Throughout the school year, these students organized donation drives—one in the winter and another in the spring—collecting essential hygiene items like shampoo, first aid supplies, and feminine care products. The result? Over 100 hygiene kits assembled and donated, plus full-sized items shared with Newark’s shower outreach services.
Sometimes it’s the “small” things—a clean pair of socks, a toothbrush, a bottle of shampoo—that remind someone they matter. These students recognized that. And we couldn’t be prouder.

This Thursday!
