Fiftieth Flashback Friday.
Students in the Office Education Association. We assume this is from the late 70s or early 80s?
200+ C-TEC students met with ten local manufacturers recently to learn about the science and careers behind their products. What a great day! A huge thank you to our partners who participated and engaged our students.

Check out this pic from the old Medical Academy.
We love this pic from our recent Community Open House. The Criminal Justice students were recruiting them early for the program.
Culinary Arts students and staff were all smiles while preparing the recent All County Board Dinner. Putting their skills to use.
Our Career Connections classes at Heath Middle School have had some cool visitors recently. We had Mark Morscher come in and help create STEM lights and Ashley Holcolmb came from “Girls Who Code”. They were both awesome guests, and we learned a lot!
Enrolling now.
First blood drive of the year was a success. We obtained 48 pints of blood which equates to 6 gallons! C-TEC's staff and students really stepped it up. Junior Medical Assistants helped with the blood drive, and we got this cool moment with Blake Norman, senior Medical Assistant student, donating with Red Cross employee (and former Clinical Care student) Cassidy Ryan.
The Automotive Technologies junior cohort. Off to a great start this year!

Recently received this note from an alumnus. We love hearing things like this.
“I was recently at the Career Signing Day event, and I was sitting there in the auditorium and I was thinking about when I went to school at LCJVS (now C-TEC).
I took Executive Secretary (yes, I am old), and I was thinking about how I never would have made it in college without the training that I received at LCJVS. I also thought that I would not be where I am today without that training. I have never forgotten where I came from. And I never could have done it without the caring people in my life that coached me, and that includes LCJVS.
For that, I am truly thankful.”

Great resource for those considering post-secondary education.
Fiftieth Flashback Friday.
In 1986 these were the new hires at LCJVS. Anyone recognize any faces?
Some of our junior Cosmetology students were pretty excited to learn some of the intricacies of shampooing. As with everything, technique matters.
