Now Hiring!

Before summer break, Heath City Schools superintendent Dr. Trevor Thomas came in to share about his career in our Career Connections class at Heath Middle School. Students were given different scenarios and had to decide what they would do as superintendent. Some situations included calling snow days and adding teachers.

Congrats to these students who had perfect attendance this past year. A notable achievement and a great soft skill. Well done all.
(A few are missing because they were out at their job sites that day, and 1 was at her graduation ceremony. :) )

Love looking at this picture from the Construction Technology lab this past year. So much happening all at once. #skillsmatter

This past year in Medical Assisting this young lady was demonstrating understanding of the heart for her peers. Peer to peer instruction is a great way to demonstrate understanding!

A job opening at our Secondary Center.

Congrats to Zoe Richeimer-Lee on making it to finals in the Hospitality and Tourism Professional Selling event at DECA’s National Conference. Zoe took our Business class at Granville High School.
She earned a silver medal (top 10%) on her case study and finished in the top 20 in her category nationally.

Busy busy is the theme all the time in our awesome high school Electrical Trades program. They have only been gone a few days so far this summer and we already miss the activity. #skillsmatter

This May our Culinary Arts students travelled to Anderson Farms in Granville – owned by James Anderson of Ray Ray's Hog Pit and BBQ fame. He and farm manager Pat gave our kids a tour of the farm, discussed hog breeding and feeding for the most delicious culinary outcome, talked about his home cured charcuterie, gave a demo on smoking brisket, and fed the students well. It was a great and full day, and we are very appreciative of his allowing our students this amazing learning experience.

Concentration on full display in the postsecondary Multicraft Maintenance program. #skillsmatter

Here is the playlist of all 3 Honors Ceremonies last week at C-TEC.

Well done LPN seniors (now graduates) Lauren Seeman, Sydney Pleger, & Lauren Glass who took their final exam a couple of weeks ago. They graduated high school with their first semester of nursing school completed! So proud of them!

Cool experience for two of our Teaching Careers students to be able to go to Carson Elementary to teach Junior Achievement to 4th graders. We appreciate Carson for allowing them the opportunity.

Today we remember, and honor, them!

C-TEC Career Development and Robertson Construction hosted a Construction Day at Heath Middle School recently. We have enjoyed the collaboration with Robertson on a number of these events this year.
