Meet Serge Mistral Noussi and Marie Noel Noussi. They are from Cameroon and joined our ESOL program last year to improve their English. This year they earned the IET Business of Retail: Operation & Profit certification, becoming Business of Retail Specialists.
Marie's dream is to start a business, and she wants to achieve this using the knowledge gained from this certification and the business course.

Vet Science seniors recently took a trip to the Columbus State Veterinary Technician building. They enjoyed being able to use the ultrasound machine, practicing getting a sterile urine sample, using the X-rays, and of course the tour and all the animals.

Postsecondary staff recently went to the Columbus Metropolitan Library for a career event. They were there to spread the word about the incredible opportunities available in the at Postsecondary Center. Programs include Manufacturing pathways, Cybersecurity, an upcoming Drone class, Quality Tech, and various Health and Public Safety courses. The event saw a fantastic turnout of 11th and 12th-grade students, as well as local college attendees, all eager to enhance their skills for future career paths.
