Congratulations to Abigail Webster, the 2022 recipient of the Christina D Gayheart Memorial Phlebotomy Scholarship in our Postsecondary Center. Christina’s family was in attendance to present the scholarship to Abigail, and we let off balloons in her memory.

Congrats to Kyle Fulton and Alyssa Johnston for completing the Byrl R Shoemaker CTE Institute. They were presented with certificates at the OACTE conference. Also, at the conference our Lisa Pierce-Burger was recognized for winning Postsecondary Teacher of the Year!

This spring Andrea DeVito, an occupational therapist from LMH, guest instructed our Physical Therapy and Exercise Science program. Here she is teaching a student how to put on and take off his socks, as she would for a patient who just had hip surgery. We greatly appreciate our partners who help us craft meaningful experiences for our students.
