This morning C-TEC Secondary Center called a Level 2 Teach in Place lockdown out of an abundance of caution. The lockdown was lifted 25 minutes later. At no time were students or staff in danger.
We realize there were numerous lockdowns across Licking County today, but there was no connection to our situation that we are aware of.
We thank our students and staff for their patience and execution of our safety procedures.

Sometimes in our Veterinary Science program it is easier to learn a skill first on a model as opposed to the real thing. It is amazing the number of things we don't consider as being necessary to learn until we closely examine a profession.
