no cell phones

Please be reminded that our cell phone policy has been changed in order to keep our district in compliance with state law. Please know that those students who violate the cell phone policy will face the following consequences:

● 1st Offense - phone confiscated and returned to the student at the end of the day by the Dean of Students.

● 2nd Offense - phone confiscated and returned to a guardian at the end of the day by the Dean of Students.

● 3rd Offense - phone confiscated and returned to a guardian at the end of the day by the Dean of Students.

There are additional penalties, including Wednesday and Saturday Schools for those students who have a 4th and further offense, but we always start with a coaching approach and communication with families prior to entering the genuine disciplinary process.

Cell Phones

Effective January 5, 2026, when we return from winter break, cellphones will be required to be out of sight, specifically inside of each student’s backpack, and turned off for the duration of the school day, from the time that a student enters the building at 7:41 AM until they exit the facility at 2:25 PM.

Again, our goal is to work with students to responsibly manage their devices independently and engage in positive conversations surrounding cell phone use instead of disciplinary interactions.
