KBL

Meet Kaylee Burgess LeBron — a true standout senior in C-TEC’s Cosmetology program and a shining example of what hard work, talent, and ambition can accomplish.

A student from Watkins Memorial High School, Kaylee didn’t just stay busy with styling techniques and salon training — she also completed an associate’s degree in Digital Design and Graphics from Columbus State Community College this past December… all at just 16 years old!

Kaylee earned her degree by taking additional College Credit Plus (CCP) courses, showing an incredible level of drive and determination. She says she chose that field because of its versatility — and because it pairs beautifully with her passion for cosmetology. Kaylee plans to blend her creative talents by using her digital design skills to promote her cosmetology work and build a brand that truly shines.

And the accomplishments don’t stop there — Kaylee also passed her state boards in cosmetology this winter, officially earning her license!

What’s next for this triple-threat teen? After graduation, Kaylee plans to continue working in the cosmetology field alongside her mother in the family salon, while continuing to grow and explore her craft.

So, let’s recap: High school graduate. Licensed cosmetologist. College degree-holder. All by the age of 16.

All we can say is — WOW.

Way to go, Kaylee! We’re beyond proud of you!
