Digital Design & Interactive Media (DDI)

Explore and study the most sophisticated software on the market, such as 3-D digital design, animation, web page development software, basic video production software and interactive media applications. Along with using these software packages, students will learn to manipulate and utilize equipment such as state-of-the-art digital video and still cameras and audio equipment. The curriculum includes: illustration, web design, multimedia, interactive media, animation, photography, video production, design fundamentals, marketing, design process, typography, and the use of traditional artistic mediums.

Program Specifics

The Digital Design and Interactive Media program is a college preparatory program for students interested in graphic design and media production as careers. The program offers college credit through College Credit Plus and articulation. Commercial art covers a wide array of work opportunities with income ranging well into the six figures for those with skills and capabilities required in this demanding career field. (Art fundamentals or foundations course, strong communication skills,  both oral and written, are highly recommended.)
