Successfully enter, compete, and advance in an industry with an ongoing focus of today’s modern society of health, fitness, and beauty. Students will gain the knowledge, skills, and required hours of instruction to take the Ohio Licensed Examination in Cosmetology. At the end of the senior year, upon passing the state exam, students are licensed cosmetologists. The program also focuses on interpersonal skills, business, and marketing.
The curriculum includes anatomy, bacteriology, cosmetic chemistry, facials, manicuring, scalp and skill care, coloring, permanent waving, and shop management. Students operate a full-service, public salon on the C-TEC Boulevard.
