Automotive Technologies (AUT)

Learn the intricacies of automotive diagnostics and repairs. The curriculum includes training in air conditioning; brakes; fuel injection; computer control systems; Hybrid Fuels technologies; cooling systems; electrical and fuel systems; engine troubleshooting; engine tune-up and overhaul; transmissions; safety; plus wheel alignment and balancing. The program is accredited by the ASE Education Foundation and has received an AST rating. The instructor is a factory trained ASE Master Technician. Students participate in the Automotive Youth Educational Systems (AYES) program. C-TEC is the only sponsored Ford ACE program in the area.

The Automotive Technologies program partners with the Automotive Youth Educational Services (AYES) program. Students in the Automotive Technologies program work on the computer to obtain credentials and certificates of completion on various skills needed for employment and college entrance.
