Cosmetology | COS

1Successfully enter, compete, and advance in an industry with an ongoing focus of today’s modern society of health, fitness, and beauty. Students will gain the knowledge, skills, and required hours of instruction to take the Ohio Licensed Examination in Cosmetology. At the end of the senior year, upon passing the state exam, students are licensed cosmetologists. The program also focuses on interpersonal skills, business, and marketing.
The curriculum includes anatomy, bacteriology, cosmetic chemistry, facials, manicuring, scalp and skill care, coloring, permanent waving, and shop management. Students operate a full-service, public salon on the C-TEC Boulevard.

The Cosmetology program saves students and their families thousands of dollars because the training students receive in high school is the same training adults receive after graduating from high school!
