 High School:

Director of Secondary School Programs (Anticipated) Position pending Board action

Job Type: Administrative, certified/licensed, benefits, 260-day contract or Interim (January 5, 2015 thru June 5, 2015)

Description: The Director of Secondary School Programs is responsible for the supervision, administration and leadership of all secondary school career-technical and academic programs. The Director is responsible for all personnel under her/his supervision and is responsible for the total daily operations of the C-TEC Secondary School. The Director shall act as the liaison to associate school districts, parents and community and requires visibility, membership and participation with C-TEC, associate school and community events and functions. The Director shall act in accordance with the guidelines and policies established by the District Superintendent and the C-TEC Board of Education. Programming and initiatives: Director is responsible for researching and implementing Federal and State Mandates, progressive learning initiatives, compliance with state policies and provides leadership for academic and CTE content standards and implementation.

Licensure: Masters Degree required, Valid Ohio Secondary Principal, Director or higher certificat/license required, Must hold valid OTES and OPES credential

Mathematics FACTS Tutor

Job Type: Part-time, 25 hours per week

Qualifications: Successful applicants must have an Ohio Teacher Certification or Licensure in High School Mathematics 

Responsibilities: The Tutor will assist students in all aspects of tutoring and OGT Intervention, VLA Credit Recovery, general student assistance as needed, and Building responsibilities as assigned.

Adult Education:

 Adult Basic and Literacy Education (A.B.L.E) COORDINATOR

Job Type: Full Time, 260- day Adult Coordinator Calendar

Qualifications: Successful applicants must have or be able to secure state certification for teaching in public schools at the elementary, junior high, senior high or adult education level, must hold a Bachelor's degree in education (Master's degree preferred), have experience with adult learners and a willingness to relate to adults with limited academic skills, be computer literate in Microsoft Office software, pass a BCI/FBI background check, have five years of related experience and/or training/degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education in adult and literacy deducation, experience in grant writing and managing grant funding a must.

Responsibilities: Manage ABLE Grant; provide Adult Basic Literacy Education , GED preparation, ESOL, and Workforce Education classes. Monitor the general overall operations of the program, maintain required documentation per Ohio Board of Regents ABLE mandates, work with fiscal office to comply with grant regulations and budgetary issues, monitor the Adult and Basic Literacy Education budget, and coordinate professional development and training of ABLE staff.

Power Lineman Program Instructor

Job Summary:  C-TEC Adult Ed is seeking a professional to provide lineman training to students in the Power Transmission and Distribution Technology Program. Monday-Friday 9:00am - 4:30pm for classroom instruction as well as field instruction in the discipline.

Qualifications:  Must have thorough knowledge of the principles and practices relating to electrical principles, safety, pole climbing, driver safety, and high voltage transmission and distribution field work; Will be responsible for updating and reworking existing curriculum and adding new courses as demanded by industry needs; Will work cooperatively with peers, students, staff and faculty as well as business and industry clients.
