Blueprint for the future
Our School-to-Apprenticeship program can give you the opportunity to work in the field, gaining experience and skills, and networking with community professionals. As a result, you'll work toward your apprenticeship certificate, earn money and further your skills—all while you're still in high school.

A solid foundation
The Building Trades curriculum is credentialed through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), a nationally accredited and industry recognized standard of program quality.

The curriculum includes:
  • OSHA 10-hour card
  • Blueprint reading and sketching
  • Building materials—brick, block, concrete, glass, metal, stone, wood and other composite substances
  • Cabinetmaking
  • Framing
  • Interior and exterior finishing
  • Layout and cost estimating
  • Basic plumbing
  • Roofing
  • Safety—care of hand and power tools
  • Basic electricity
  • Basic welding
  • Basic architectural drawing
