In compliance with Ohio Revised Code 3313.66 and Board Policy 5517.01, C-TEC Secondary Education Center has had 0 cases of bullying, harassment or intimidation substantiated on school property as of December 8, 2015.

C-TEC announces pilot program with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers



C-TEC Announcements:


Sign up to attend Saturday School to make up a second semester, excused absence.  Interested students need to see Mrs. Bradley in the Attendance Office to sign up!


Seniors interested in applying for the C-TEC TEA scholarship forms are due by 5/6/16. Please see a teacher or stop in the guidance office for a form.


There will be a JOG class, 4/28/16, 2nd period for AM labs an 7/8 for PM labs, in room 801.


Attention Social Studies Club members! We will be having an end-of-the year pizza and movie party in place of our April & May meetings. It will be held on Friday, May 6th from 12:07-2:25 (8th-10th periods) in room 722. Students must plan to attend the entire meeting (they may not come late or leave early). We will be watching & discussing the movie “Slumdog Millionaire”, meeting our goal for cultural and global awareness. Please stop by Mrs. Ziegler or Ms. Salva’s classroom this week for a permission slip to be signed by your parents since this is an “R-rated” movie.

Home school Announcements:

Licking Valley-Graduation Diploma Presenter Forms are due on Monday May 2nd; contact Ms. McMillen for more information. Seniors; community service hours are due by April 22, 2016.

          -Seniors, community service hours are due. This is required for graduation.


Newark- Prom tickets will be sold during lunch on 4/27 & 4/28 during lunch, they are $20 each. Guest forms are available at Newark High School.


Heath-Prom is May 14th, 8:00pm at Skylight. Prom tickets will go on sale 4/25/16 through 5/6/16, tickets are $30.00. On 4/26/16 tickets will be sold at C-TEC during lunches. Before purchasing a ticket you must complete a PROM Promise form and if you are bringing a guest from another school please get the guest form signed and returned by the end of the day on 4/22/16. Forms are in the Guidance Office.





Lakewood-Prom tickets will be sold at C-TEC April 8th and April 20th during lunch, tickets are $45 per person. Prom will be held April 30th, 7:00pm at the Barn @ Backwoods.

Watkins Memorial- Prom is Friday, April 29th at Villa Milano Banquet & Conference Center. Prom tickets will be sold at C-TEC April 21st and April 22nd during lunch, tickets are $60 per person. Mr. Drees (room 207 at WMHS) is selling tickets every morning before 7:15 am and can answer questions, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Northridge- late arrival, 5/12/16, Talent Show, $2.00 admission, must provide own transportation, students should arrive at C-TEC by 10:00am. Sign out at NHS and in at C-TEC.


Licking Heights- early release, 4/29/16, students that purchased prom tickets will be released at 11:00, must provide own transportation, and sign out at C-TEC.



Watkins- early release, 4/29/16, 9:15am for those students that wish to attend NHS Induction & spring pep rally, sign out at C-TEC/in at Watkins, must provide own transportation. Juniors and seniors not attending school activities listed above that have purchased prom tickets will be released at 10:45, sign out at C-TEC, must provide own transportation.
