Congratulations! Bri Grill has been accepted to COTC!
ACT Workshop: Juniors who are interested in participating in an ACT workshop given at C-TEC this spring, should sign up in the Counseling Office. More information will be provided once we get a count.
Saturday School: If you are interested in attending Saturday School to make up an excused absence this Saturday, please stop by and see Jessica in the Attendance Office.
Explore COTC: Explore COTC will be held Friday, March 14th from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Be sure to pick up a College Visitation form from the Counseling Office if you plan to attend.
College Fair: The 4th Annual Licking County College Fair will be held April 9th at Granville High School from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. You can talk to admissions representatives from over 100 colleges and universities from around the country.
DeVry: There will be a college representative here from DeVry University on March 11th during the lunch periods. Please stop by and pick up information if you are interested in learning about DeVry's programs.
OGT Week: OGT week (March 10 - 14) is here. Tests will be given in the following order: Monday: Reading; Tuesday: Math; Wednesday: Writing; Thursday: Science; Friday: Social Studies. Any student on late arrival waiver will be expected to be in school by 7:55 a.m. if they are scheduled to test that day. Any student or parent with questions regarding the OGT should contact Mrs. Oberlander in the FACTS Center at (740) 364-2237.
ASVAB: On March 18th, any student interested in taking the ASVAB can go to Heath High School for an open session of the ASVAB testing for students from any school. Please sign up in the Counseling Office if you are interested. You must fill out a military processing form from C-TEC.
Licking County 4-H Band: Licking County 4-H Band registration is March 5, 12, and 19 at 5:30 p.m. Practice will be held after registration. Practices are held every Wednesday in March, April and May from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Legend Elementary School. The registration fee is $5 and you must also take a folding music stand.
Poetry Contest: The Licking County Library is sponsoring a poetry contest through March 20th. Additional information is in the Counseling Office.
Attention Johnstown students: Seniors: your community service hours were due last Saturday (120 hours and a 2 page reflection paper). Forms and information are in your bulletin board basket. You can turn them in at JHS or in the C-TEC Counseling Office. You need this go graduate!
Attention Lakewood Students: Powerpuff Volleyball will be Friday at 6:00 p.m. Admission is $3.
Attention Newark Students: OCC t-shirts will be on sale in the Athletic Office for $10. Buy your shirt and show your school spirit on Saturday morning at the coliseum.
Seniors: New scholarship information is in your bulletin board basket.
Attention Northridge Students: Seniors pictures are now due! You can email them or send them in.
Attention Utica Students: Any wrestler who has not turned in their singlet must do so by Friday to avoid being charged $40. The end of the seadon banquet will be Saturday. Wrestlers need to be there at 12:30 for the start of the pee wee team.
