In compliance with Ohio Revised Code 3313.66 and Board Policy 5517.01, C-TEC Secondary Education Center has had 0 cases of bullying, harassment or intimidation substantiated on school property as of December 18, 2014.

Safe School Hotline (1-800-418-6423 ext. 359) is available to report any safety issues or bullying that needs brought to the attention of the administration.  Also, contact any Secondary Center Administrator at (740) 364-2832.

Announcements for 3/27/15

Lakewood students:  The prom will be held on April 25th at The Barn at the Backwoods. The doors will open at 6:00 for pictures and dinner will be at 7:00 p.m. The dance will end at 11:00 p.m.  All students must secure transportation and leave the premises by 11:15 p.m. If you wish to take a non-Lakewood student date to the prom, you must have the form completed and returned to Mr. Coffey’s office by 2:20 p.m. on April 8th.  No forms will be accepted late.  The forms are in your bulletin board basket in the cafeteria.

Licking Heights students:  The prom will be held on May 1st at the Skylight in Newark from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Tickets cost $70/each and dinner is included.  The theme is the Great Gatsby.

Licking Valley students:  The prom will be held May 2nd from 7:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at Longaberger Golf Course. The cost is $25 per tickets. After prome is at the YMCA in Newark from midnight to 2:00 a.m.  Someone will be at C-TEC to sell tickets on April 16th and April 22nd.

Utica students:  The prom will be held April 25th from 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. at The Station Break in Mount Vernon.  The cost is $25 per person.

Watkins students:  The prom will be held April 24th from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. at Villa Milano.  Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets will be sold at C-TEC the week prior to prom during lunch.  Specific dates will be announced after spring break.

Be sure to stop by the Library Media Center today to get books for over break!

Take advantage of making up an excused absence!  Sign up in the Attendance Office today to serve your Saturday School. 

The C-TEC prom will be held April 11th at Cherry Valley Lodge.  Doors open at 8:00 p.m. with the dance ending promptly at 11:00 p.m.  All students must secure transportation to/from the event and leave the premises of the event by 11:15 p.m. If you would like to take one non-C-TEC student as your date to the prom, you must complete the Guest Permission Form by Friday, April 10th at 2:25 p.m.  No forms will be accepted after that deadline.   Tickets will be sold all week after break during each lunch period for $25 each.

The LMH Wellness Center will be offering free physicals to boys on May 27th and free physicals to the girls will be offered on May 28th.

This is the last call for submissions to C-TEC’s magazine.  Submissions will be accepted through today.

C-TEC prom tickets will be sold all week during each lunch period.  The tickets cost $25 each.  Don’t forget your dollar for a ticket to check your coat and/or shoes.  100% of funds made for the shoe/coat check will be donated to the local humane society and the Healthy Kids Network.
