ECG (Electrocardiogram) Training
Full-time program that includes 560 hours of classroom training and a 100 hour externship that will be scheduled following successful completion of classroom hours and proper documentation of all prerequisites.

Phlebotomist
The Phlebotomy Technician is an integral part of the laboratory team who collects blood specimens by venipuncture or a capillary stick; they also can assist in other patient specimen collection such as urine. The Phlebotomist may also be involved with data entry, specimen processing, capable of following directions and be detail oriented.
Curriculum will include: Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, Fundamentals of Math, Law and Ethics, Patient Contact/Public Relations, Intro to Computers, Phlebotomy I, II and III.
ECG (Electrocardiogram)
Electrocardiogram instruction will provide you an overview of the cardiac vascular system. Focusing on the proper placement of electrocardiogram (ECG) leads, proper procedure and use of equipment to obtain an accurate 12-Lead ECG. An ECG traces electrical impulses transmitted by the heart by attaching electrodes to the patient’s chest, arms and legs. This will create an ECG print for interpretation by the physician. You will also learn to recognize basic cardiac arrhythmias which will enable you to recognize a good clear ECG as well as recognize a serious circumstance that may need immediate physician interpretation.
ECG Technicians must be reliable, have mechanical aptitude and be able to follow detailed instructions.
Curriculum will include: Cardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology, ECG I and II and the above curriculum included In Phlebotomy.
Prerequisites: WorkKey pre testing $40, American Heart Association CPR Healthcare Provider, Hepatitis B series, immunization records, 2-step TB test.
Black scrubs, white tennis shoe or clinical shoe (no clogs or open toe).

Part-time Program
56 hours of intense training in Phlebotomy and ECG skills. Prerequisites: High school diploma or GED; nurse aide, EMT or medical experience; healthcare provider CPR certification; WorkKeys. Royal blue uniform/scrubs required.
