Financial Aid and Payment Plans Minimize
Paying for Tuition, Books & Fees
All charges (tuition, books, fees and supplies) must be paid on or before the first day of class, unless:
1. A monthly payment has been arranged and signed by both the student and C-TEC. A payment plan is detailed on a Cost & Funding Summary that shows the charges, dates and amounts of each payment. Interest is not charged, but a late fee will be assessed.
2.The student presents written assurance that an employer, agency or other third-party will pay the otherwise uncovered balance.
3. Sufficient financial aid has been approved and confirmed.
Financial Aid
Applying: Contact our Financial Aid Administrator – Larry Weber at (740) 364-2259 or (800) 945-2832 to discuss funding options.
C-TEC has been approved for the following sources of financial aid:
• Pell Grants–a non-refundable federal award for students enrolled in programs of at least 600 hours. Pell Grants are based on student need and are determined by income level from the prior year. Tax returns and W-2s are necessary to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Our Financial Aid Office will help you complete the FAFSA or you can complete it on the Web at www.fafsa.ed.gov
• Veterans’ Administration
• Federal Tuition Assistance for members of the National Guard who have served on active duty.
• Numerous agencies and other funding sources including:
1. WIA (Work Investment Act) for the unemployed and other low income workers.
2. PRC (Prevention, Retention and Contingency) funds through the Department of Job & Family Services.
3. TAA (Trade Adjustment Act) for workers who have been laid off because of jobs lost to foreign competition or jobs being moved to other countries.
4. BVR (Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation).

To arrange a payment plan, contact the program coordinator.
