General Information
Weather Closings In case of inclement weather, listen to WCLT or WHTH for cancellations. C-TEC will not cancel classes unless a Level 2 snow emergency is in effect for Licking County. If a Level 2 emergency is in effect after 7 a.m., the school will be closed for the entire day (until midnight), even if the Level 2 emergency is lifted. Listen to local media for Level 2 emergency notifications. Adult education operations are separate from the high school closures. Call our automated weather line at (740) 364-2211 for closing clarification.
Parking There are no reserved parking spaces after 4:00 p.m. other than handicapped spaces. If you are uncertain which door is most convenient to you, park on the east side of the main building by entering the C-TEC drive nearest 21st Street. There is extra parking behind the greenhouse if the main lot is full. Equal Opportunity Education Institution.

Refunds
Refunds will be made by the same method as payment was made, except cash payments will be refunded by check. Please allow six weeks for refunds by check.
Short-term Courses (1 to 299 hours) C-TEC reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment. In such cases, full refunds will be made. There are no refunds after the first 8 hours of classes (classes under 10 hours no refund after first night).
Long-term Courses (300 hours or over) The refund policy for longer classes is generally as follows:
- Charges for assessment services are not refundable.
- Once received, books, tools and supplies may not be refunded.
- Tuition and fee charges (except for assessment) accrue as follows:
- Prior to 15 hours of class no fees are charged – 100% refund
- After 15 hours of class, but before completing 30% of the total program hours, the student is only responsible for the number of fee-hours completed. Any amount paid above those hour-based fees will be refunded.
- After completing 30% of the total program hours, the student is responsible for paying all tuition and fee charges for the entire program. The only exception to this would be charges for specific services not yet received, for example, credentialing or testing. The director or registrar may make adjustments to a student account (payable) based on that individual's ability to pay and other hardship circumstances. Such an adjustment typically involves the waiver of the 30% rule. Thus, the student is only charged tuition and fees for those hours actually completed by the student.
For more detailed information on fee accrual and refunds, consult with the Registrar or see the student handbook at the time of registration.
Student Transcripts There is a charge of $5 for individual student transcript replacements.
First Class All students should meet in the Adult Education Lobby. (First entrance off Price Road – from North 21st)
Textbooks Textbooks are paid for at time of registration and are issued to the student while attending class.
